Join us for a special event dedicated to the release of the e-book "Children in Times of War: Resilient Life-Stories / Resilience Biographies / Resilience Memories." This narrative transcends conventional storytelling boundaries; it offers an immersive experience, delving deep into human resilience.

Written by Ukrainian academics, who also serve as distinguished journalists and advocates for children's rights, this book presents a compelling collection of personal accounts, interviews, and reflections, shedding light on the realities faced by Ukrainian children in war-torn regions.

The book covers several key themes, including the impact on childhood, resilience and hope, and actionable steps each of us can take to advocate for measures that protect and support the well-being of children affected by war.

"I have known Prof. Kharlamova for many years and we have become close friends through our work together on various research projects. When the Russian invasion of Ukraine began, Prof. Kharlamova, as a mother, naturally wanted to record the horrors of war as experienced by children. This book is a crucial part of documenting the impact of war on children. I would like to thank Dr Ignas Zimaičius, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Vilnius University, and the 1K Support Foundation for funding the book project," says Prof. Vincent Rolandas Giedraitis, a researcher at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Vilnius, with whose help this book was published.
