“Mano bankas” specialized training for senior bank managers
Specialized training for senior managementthat includes the following topics: bank management, finance ethics, the main aspects of banking sector monitoring, banking sector services, banking sector performance evaluation, bank risks and their management, internal audit committee and its functions.
The training was led by an associate professor of the Department of Finance, dr. Deimantė Teresienė. She actively participates in various international scientific committees, is a member of the International Institute of Economics and Management Research, a member of the International Engineering and Technology Institute, a member of the Institute of Information Technologies and Artificial Intelligence.
“Mano bankas” training for loan specialists
Loan specialists’ qualification training. Training topics included: introduction to financial analysis, financial reporting analytics and prognosis, capital cost calculation, the evaluation of discounted cash flows.
The training was led by a professor of the Department of Finance dr. Arvydas Paškevičius. Professor has participated in eight scientific conferences, actively works with students as a lecturer, as well as a supervisor of research papers and master theses in various topics. He has published 20 scientific papers that focus on the fields of economics and international business.
BitDegree
Online learning start-up “BitDegree“, together with the researchers of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Vilnius University, conduct a project that aims at exploring how the integration of game design elements in the study process can contribute to the increase of online course completion average scores, and attract more people to the online learning platforms. The research is led by a professor of the Faculty of Economics and Bussiness Administration prof. dr. Vytautas Dikčius. The project is funded by the European Union for the period 2014-2020, by more than 800.000 Eur.
Lithuanian Lottery Association
Assoc. prof. dr. Egidijus Bikas and assoc. prof. dr. Erstida Ulvidienė participated in the research for the Lithuanian Lottery Association that aims at examining whether the lottery and gambling regulation in Lithuania ensures the balance of the protection of stakeholders‘ – government, society, and business – interests and rights. The research analyzed the current situation and modeled tax rates for regulating the lottery and gambling market.
