On 1 October, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration at Vilnius University launched the MBA Business Development programme. It is designed for middle-level managers seeking to make strategically grounded decisions and purposefully grow their organisations. The launch was marked by the cohort's first meeting at the Faculty.

Participants were welcomed by the Dean of VU FEBA, Prof. Dr Aida Mačerinskienė; Head of the Programme, Prof. Dr Jelena Stankevičienė; Head of the Strategic Management Module, Assoc. Prof. Dr Erika Vaiginienė; and Head of the Organizational Behavior Module, Prof. Dr Rasa Paulienė.

The studies are built around Strategic Management, Corporate Finance and Organizational Behavior. In later modules, participants will expand their knowledge in Strategic Marketing, Business and Digital Transformation Management, Sustainability Development, Financial Technologies and Business Management Systems.

Healthcare Management is one of the programme's elective modules. It was presented by Arūnas Dulkys, who also outlined planned study visits to healthcare institutions abroad.

Introductory insights on strategic management were shared by Prof. Dr Tomas Jovaiša, Director General of Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos, and Dr Justas Nugaras, Director for Academic Affairs. Dr Nugaras will also teach MBA participants in the spring semester.

VU FEBA thanks Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos for its partnership and for enabling the programme to draw on relevant, real-world healthcare experience.
