On November 30, the „Nasdaq“ scholarships were awarded. Students who will be awarded „Nasdaq“ scholarships were selected based on their progress in studies, active participation in scientific or social activities, interest in financial markets and motivation to continue their career in this field.

„We are glad that we can contribute to the education of highly qualified specialists in the financial market. We see that this is a meaningful investment on the path of business and science partnership", - said one of the scholarship initiators and commission members, Head director of financial planning and analysis at „Nasdaq“ Antanas Bielinis. This year, nominal scholarships are awarded to three undergraduate students of Quantitative Economics: second-year student Karolina Jonuskaitė and third-year students Rosita Jasaitytė and Urtė Žiškaitė.

During the event, the head of the Research Center of the Bank of Lithuania, Aurelija Proškutė and the head of the Quantitative economics program, Linas Tarasonis, congratulated those gathered. Arminta Saladžienė, vice president of „Nasdaq“ for the European market, presented the awards and presented „Nasdaq group“ to the gathered community. „Nasdaq“ HR Manager Rita Čepinskienė shared tips on how to take the first steps in your career and what your career path might be. During the discussion, representatives of „Nasdaq“ and the Bank of Lithuania shared their personal experiences, stories about their career paths and advice.
