The 16th EuroMed Business Academy Conference "Business Transformation in Unstable Environments" is taking place on 27-29 September at the VU Science Communication and Information Centre. The conference brought together over 200 scholars and researchers from all over the world to present research on business transformation that has occurred/is occurring in the context of the covid-19 pandemic and wars.

The official opening part of the conference started today at 11.00 with speeches and opening remarks by the Co-Presidents of the EuroMed Academy of Business, Prof. Demetris Vrontis and Prof. Yaakov Weber, the Rector of Vilnius University, Prof. Dr. A.A. Rimvydas Petrauskas, Director of Vilnius City Municipality Administration Adomas Bužinskas, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Vilnius University Prof. Aida Mačerinskienė, Head of Marketing Department at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of Vilnius University Prof. Sigitas Urbonavičius, Chairman at the Research Council of Lithuania Dr. Gintaras Valinčius, Co-Founder of the high-tech company "Brolis Sensor Technology" Kristijonas Vizbaras.

We would like to thank the speakers and wish meaningful research presentations and discussions for the participating researchers. The conference is organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Vilnius University.

The aim of the EuroMed Business Academy is to create a friendly and accessible institution and environment, a strong network whose members (world-class scientists, young academics, PhD students, researchers and business practitioners) train and mentor each other. Members take part in the conference's research project workshops, where they interact, improve their research, collaborate with colleagues and apply for EU project funding.
