On June 19, 2025, the historic St. John's Church of Vilnius University became a stage for celebration, recognition, and emotion as the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FEBA) held its graduation ceremony. Surrounded by faculty members, families, friends, colleagues, and academic partners, graduates came together to mark the completion of an important academic chapter and the beginning of a new path forward.
The ceremony was held in three parts, with diplomas awarded to undergraduate students in Economics and Quantitative Economics, followed by graduates of Accounting and Audit, Global Marketing, Business Information Systems, Business and Law, and Management programs. The final part was dedicated to master’s graduates and doctoral students in Management and Economics.
Each stage of the event was accompanied by inspiring speeches, warm congratulations, and proud smiles. In her address, the Dean of the Faculty emphasized that this moment is the result of each graduate’s individual effort. She invited everyone to pause and reflect: “Close your eyes and remember how much you studied… how many cups of coffee it took, how many sleepless nights to finish your thesis or pass the exams. Now open your eyes, look at each other and smile – you’ve reached the finish line.”
A total of 271 bachelor’s degrees were awarded, including 2 Magna Cum Laude for distinguished academic work and 24 Cum Laude for outstanding study results. Additionally, 68 master’s diplomas were granted, 7 of them Cum Laude.
The best thesis in the Quantitative Economics program, authored by Andrii Liakhovchenko, was awarded a symbolic commemorative coin from the Bank of Lithuania, presented by Vice-Chairwoman of the Board, Dr. Julita Varanauskienė.
Two Tomas Karpavičius Scholarships were awarded for the best bachelor theses on energy topics – to Andželika Nariūnaitė (Accounting and Audit) and Kamilė Tizinauskaitė (Quantitative Economics).
Distinguished guests of the ceremonies included Sonata Gutauskaitė-Bubnelienė (Head of SEB Bank in Lithuania), Rasa Radzevičienė (Partner and Head of Audit at PwC Lithuania), and Laura Kavaliauskaitė (Head of Alter Domus in Lithuania).
FEBA invites all graduates to remain part of our community – to return for further studies, take part in research projects, and continue shaping the future of Lithuania’s economy.
Congratulations to all graduates – your journey is only just beginning!
