On June 23-28, Assoc. Prof. Rasa Paulienė and Prof. Gindrutė Kasnauskienė and four Management Program students participated in the transnational meeting of the project "Digital Transformation in Special Education". This is the fifth meeting of the project partners, which this time took place in North Macedonia in the cities of Gostivar and Skopje. Project participants visited International Vision University and several schools where children with special needs are educated.
Karina Kandrotaitė states, that „it was an amazing opportunity to engage in an international discussion and to contribute to actual changes in special education“. Liepa Ramanauskaitė also noted that meeting highly motivated people from various countries inspired her to not fear making change in the world - step by step, towards a brighter future for all the nations. Polina Kutana emphasizes that „cultural exchange helps to show broader perspective of problem solving and brings people closer to value theirs and others’ backgrounds and experiences“. Cesare Coppolino particularly distinguished the importance of the sense of belonging not only to the European Union, but to the whole world, that these projects awaken in students and professors - moving all together towards inclusion. The next project meeting of the participants from five countries - Turkey, Croatia, Netherlands, North Macedonia and Lithuania - will take place in Croatia at the end of September.
