On December 6th, scholarships established by the international company "Nasdaq" were presented at Nasdaq headquarters in Vilnius to students of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration's Quantitative Economics program. This year, the named scholarships were granted to three bachelor's program students in Quantitative Economics: Sofija Volungevičiūtė, Paulius Kazlauskas, and Giedrė Krotovaite.

During the event, Dr Linas Tarasonis, Head of the Quantitative Economics Programme, together with representatives of the Research Centre of the Bank of Lithuania, welcomed the participants. The awards were presented by Arminta Saladžienė, Nasdaq Vice President for the European Markets, and Antanas Bielinis, Senior Director of Business Intelligence at Nasdaq, one of the initiators of the scholarships. Rita Čepinskienė and Dominyka Rinkūnienė, representatives of Nasdaq's HR team, spoke about the organization’s culture and traditions as well as shared their advice on how internship can become a starting point of your career. The event was highlighted with a celebration cake and an insightful speech by Antanas Bielinis who shared his personal experience, practical work examples, and career advice for future professionals.
