21 December Vilnius University hosted a festive Christmas party "Celebrating the Year 2023". The event recalled the works of the calendar year 2023, honoured the members of the University's academic community who have distinguished themselves this year, and made wishes for the upcoming New Year. The Rector, Prof. Rimvydas Petrauskas, and the President of the Senate, Prof. Eglė Lastauskienė, greeted the participants of the evening.
We are very pleased that the colleagues of Economics and Business Administration were also celebrated and awarded during this festive evening.
For outstanding annual scientific achievements, contribution to the development of science at the University and in Lithuania, and raising the prestige of the University's science in the world in 2023, the Rector's Science Prize Diploma was awarded to the Chief Researcher of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Dr. Linda Desiree HOLLEBEEK. (Dr. L.H. Hollebek has once again received global recognition in 2023 and for the fourth time has been included in Clarivate's annual list of "Highly Cited Researchers in 2023").
Dr. Daiva TAMULEVIČIENĖ, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, was congratulated and awarded in the category of the Best Lecturer in 2023.

For her long-standing leadership in strengthening the international student community and increasing the international recognition of studies, a special commendation and the Rector's Prize was awarded to Dr. Roma ADOMAITIENE, Associate Dean of Studies at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
