The 2nd CEFER/KTU/VU Workshop took place on November 11, 2022 at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The workshop brought together academic researchers from CEFER, KTU and VU and provided the opportunity to discuss research works, gain feedback and build research links that may provide for fruitful future collaborations. In total, nine recent research papers were presented at the event, with fifteen active participants. 

On November 9, representatives of the World Bank visited the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. The World Bank economists presented the topic "Which tax system is equitable and conducive to economic growth?"

We are pleased to share the news that Soroosh Soofi Siavash, Junior Research Fellow at the VU EVAF, together with his colleague Emanuel Moench (Deutsche Bundesbank), has published an article "What moves treasury yields?" in the top level (AJG 4* level) academic journal "Journal of Financial Economics". This is a particularly important achievement as it is the third publication at this level in the Faculty's history.

The Bank of Lithuania awarded the three most advanced students of the VU FEBA Quantitative Economics study program with Bank of Lithuania scholarships.
