Marketing Department integrates a group of professors who:
- perform studies in marketing and consumer behaviour;
- deliver lectures to doctoral, master and bachelor students;
- are engaged in solving marketing-related business issues, working in partnerships with local and international colleagues.
Results of the studies are presented in the leading international conferences (AMS, EMAC, etc.), are published in highly regarded academic journals. The main research topics include: buyer behaviour in digital environment, child influence in family buying, marketing decisions in brand and price management, tourist motivations and behaviour.
Marketing department manages master study programme ‘Marketing and integrated communication’ and a branch of bachelor programme ‘Marketing and global business’; professors of Marketing Department deliver lectures to students of many other programmes. Since all professors have not just academic experience, their teaching includes efficient integration of theoretical models and their practical applications.
Marketing department cooperates with numerous international partners. Professors are frequently invited to teach in other universities, foreign colleagues are teaching in our programmes and participate in joint research projects. Insights from the research are disseminated throughout media and when professors consult companies.
