We are looking for a full-time research assistant during the period of April – December 2018. The position will be created conditional on receiving a proposed grant from Kaunas University of Technology, however, we will know if we got the grant by April, 2018 the latest. The objective of the position is to compile large micro datasets, clean and harmonize variables, write codes for statistical analysis, etc. At the later stage of project, contribution in the preparation of final report and presentation is expected.
Applicants should be completing (or have completed) Bachelors or Masters, or are in the first year of their doctoral studies. We expect quantitative and programming skills in statistical software. We are especially looking for a candidate with programming experience in R or STATA. It is not necessary that candidates are majors in Economics.
You would be supervised by Ms. Eglė Jakučionytė (University of Amsterdam and Lietuvos Bankas and Dr Swapnil Singh (KTU and Lietuvos Bankas).
