Three levels of study programmes (Undergraduate, Graduate and Doctoral) are being implemented at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. All programmes are taught in Lithuanian or English language. There are also a large number of courses offered for foreign students in English.
The Faculty is seeking to attract specialists-practitioners in economics, management, marketing, tourism and other fields for teaching positions at the University, this way establishing closer ties businesses. This enables us to illustrate theoretical knowledge through business practice cases, and thus contribute to developing theoretical skills and their application in practice. The cohesion between theory and practice is augmented by the fact that majority of teachers who work at Vilnius University simultaneously take part in the activities of national and international professional organisations, serving in high positions.
Valuable contribution to international study programmes is provided by visiting professors from European, US, Honkong, Ukrainian universities.
During the recent decade, lecturers of the Faculty completed internships at the following universities and organisations: London, Oxford, Sheffield, Wales, Aalborg, Bonn, Stockholm, Harvard, Illinois, Georgetown, South Carolina, De Paul (USA), Dalhausie (Canada), Copenhagen Business School, Helsinki School of Business Economics, Norwegian Institute of Audit, the International Monetary Fund, the central banks of England, Germany and Italy.
